Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate automatic tapping, drilling, reaming, and CNC machines to perform close tolerance operation.
  • •Position parts into chucks/fixtures, initiate machine cycles, and remove machined parts.
  • •Gauge and/or visually check castings using manual gauges, calipers, and established procedures.
  • •Read and interpret screen or blueprint information to adjust machines using basic math and CNC/PLC controls.
  • •Recognize and report mechanical malfunctions and maintain records while keeping the work area clean and applying 5-S program.
