Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver customer service standards and provide courteous, professional interactions while meeting operational and sales goals.
  • •Process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and other transaction services accurately, referring questionable items to appropriate management.
  • •Maintain cash drawer limits, balance daily, report cash outages, and follow Teller Over/Short policies.
  • •Follow policies and compliance procedures, including fraud prevention and accurate reporting related to CTRs, SARs, monetary logs, and Reg CC holds.
  • •Identify transaction cross-sell opportunities, explain product/service benefits, perform thank-you calls and follow-up, and assist with branch opening/closing.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 16 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High School graduate (or equivalent) required.
  • •Proficient in typing, 10-key calculator, and data entry.
  • •Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • •Completion and comprehension of required Southside Bank instructor-led classes (New Employee Orientation, Teller Training, Teller Advanced, Professional Teller).
  • •Minimum 6 months cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
