Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up, operate, and adjust vertical/horizontal CNC lathes and multi-axis turning centers to machine parts and components per specifications and procedures.
  • •Perform complete CNC setup: tool mounting/preset, workpiece clamping/alignment, zero-point definition, and verification of machining conditions.
  • •Program and adjust CNC code (conversational programming, offsets for geometry/wear, small G/M edits) and ensure correct equipment operation.
  • •Interpret mechanical drawings/process sheets and run turning operations (external/internal turning, facing, threading, boring, drilling, milling) as required.
  • •Carry out inspections using measurement instruments, ensure tolerance compliance, follow HSE for material handling, and complete production logs/checklists.

Key Requirements

  • •Complete Ensino Médio (High School).
  • •Technical course in Mechanics/Machining or equivalent professional training.
  • •Proven experience preparing and operating vertical/horizontal CNC lathes and/or multi-axis turning centers.
  • •Knowledge of FANUC and/or Siemens (Sinumerik 810D/840D) controls.
  • •Ability to read mechanical technical drawings and perform metrology/dimensional control to meet tolerances (including GD&T).
