Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive financial results by meeting or exceeding production metrics and ensuring high-quality Balance Sheet Committee submissions.
  • •Recruit, develop, manage, and retain a team of Relationship Managers, Associates, and Analysts to achieve individual and team performance.
  • •Identify and prioritize top prospect and client relationships; build a strategic acquisition pipeline and self-source/call prospects and clients in person.
  • •Participate in pre-call planning and join client/prospect calls; guide the team through the deal lifecycle to closure, negotiating deals and solving problems.
  • •Screen deals, oversee credit reviews, assess credit worthiness, and manage risk/return for new and existing clients (including regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
  • •10+ years of commercial banking experience, including credit analysis and/or portfolio management focused on middle market and corporate clients.
  • •Prior experience leading and managing a team in a sales environment with goaled production metrics (preferred).
  • •Formal credit training (Commercial Credit Certification) or comparable underwriting experience (critical).
  • •Advanced banking product knowledge and strong financial acumen; experience using Salesforce and MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
