Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide support to Principal Consultants and Associate Directors on technical, managerial, and financial matters.
  • •Technically lead pedestrian modelling and/or traffic microsimulation work for strategic transport planning projects.
  • •Develop models, perform calibration and validation, and deliver reports and presentations to a high technical standard.
  • •Help prepare scope and fee estimates and support delivery to budget and KPIs.
  • •Mentor and supervise junior staff, enhancing their technical skills and professional development.

Key Requirements

  • •Relevant BSc/MSc/BEng in Civil Engineering or Transport planning.
  • •Membership or working towards membership of a chartered professional institution (e.g., CIHT, TPS, CILT).
  • •Demonstrable experience technically leading pedestrian modelling and/or traffic microsimulation projects.
  • •Proficiency developing models, including calibration and validation, and producing technical reports and presentations.
  • •Experience with project management, supervision of junior staff, and client contact/liaison.
