Job Summary

Prime and prepare vehicles for cosmetic paintwork in Carvana’s high-tech inspection centers. You’ll perform final sanding, buffing, touch-ups, paint mixing, and airbrushing to help deliver great cars on schedule. Work Monday–Friday with potential weekend overtime as needed, while following safety requirements and maintaining quality in a fast-paced reconditioning environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Prime vehicles and perform final sanding before painting.
•Buff, complete touch-ups, and assist with paint mixing and airbrush application.

•Maintain quality while meeting vehicle delivery expectations and adjusting to mandatory overtime needs.
•Follow required safety procedures, including use of protective equipment.

Key Requirements

•Minimum of 1 year of professional automotive painting experience.
•Ability to prime vehicles and perform final sanding before painting, including buffing, touch-up work, paint mixing, and airbrush tasks.
•Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently and physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
•Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license (some positions may require an MVR check).
•Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and sometimes be exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold), while using safety equipment.
