Job Summary

Own planning and control activities that support production, inventory, process, and shop floor execution, with a focus on Material Resources Planning (MRP) integrity. Maintain SAP order release schedules, perform pre-shortage analysis and work order variance analysis, and review MRP execution for accurate supply/demand and master scheduling requirements. Partner with buyers/planners on engineering change orders, audit systems and WIP inventory issues, and drive root-cause corrective actions from PCI metrics.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain SAP order release schedule to provide material on time for manufacturing and engineering
•Perform pre-shortage analysis, reschedule/complete no-charge discrete jobs, and conduct work order variance analysis
•Review MRP execution to ensure accuracy of information; reconcile supply and demand and validate master scheduling requirements
•Manage engineering change orders by ensuring proper disposition, preparing status reports for ECOs and ECRs, and coordinating on material affected by ECOs
•Drive inventory and process control activities including system maintenance/audits, floor audits with Finance, cycle counting, and root-cause corrective action from PCI reporting and metrics

Key Requirements

•2-4 years of experience
•Conceptual and practical expertise in planning activities (production control, inventory control, process control, or shop floor control/MRP integrity)
•Ability to maintain SAP order release schedules and support manufacturing and engineering with on-time material
•Experience reviewing MRP execution for accuracy, reconciling supply and demand, and validating master scheduling requirements
•Capability to work with buyers/planners to manage material affected by engineering change orders (ECOs)
