Key Responsibilities

  • •Optimize and validate HVAC equipment selection (size, configuration, voltage, options) by reviewing plans, specifications, estimates, and proposals.
  • •Evaluate cost savings and cost risks across projects; validate scope by reviewing transition documents and plans/specs.
  • •Prepare and support sales with preliminary and/or final submittals; coordinate EQ/VPP dollar breaks, submittal release, and updates.
  • •Negotiate with vendors for materials to maintain competitive advantage and optimize expenses.
  • •Prepare equipment for order entry, verify equipment pricing, update coordination worksheets, reconcile job costs, and provide technical support post-order for installation, start-up, and warranty/service.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or Engineering Technology, or an equivalent education and work combination.
  • •Minimum 2 years of HVAC industry experience in project management or estimating roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; alternatively 5+ years of HVAC experience in project management or estimating roles.
  • •Familiarity with HVAC systems and/or temperature controls (preferred).
  • •Flexibility to work outside normal work hours as required.
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations.
