Job Summary

Oversee a portfolio of strategic CAPEX projects and lead a small project team, reporting to the VP Technical Services. Own project development through concept, feasibility, and execution, including budgeting, schedules, milestones, contract inputs, and quality targets. Establish delivery processes, risk matrices, documentation and reporting, and ensure OSHA/MSHA and environmental compliance. Lead on-site supervision through commissioning, manage contractors, and present progress to steering committees.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee and support all aspects of projects, including concept design through feasibility and execution across the project life cycle.
•Develop project budgets, schedules, milestones, contracts, and quality targets in collaboration with stakeholders.
•Establish project delivery processes and tools, including methodologies, risk matrix, and document control and reporting.
•Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor execution, and summarize progress; maintain and update company tools.
•Perform on-site supervision for extended periods, managing construction teams through commissioning and start-up while ensuring safety, environmental compliance, and contractor adherence.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.E.) or equivalent experience.
•Engineer and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
•At least 10 years’ experience supporting and/or managing projects in mining, heavy construction, and/or process industry.
•Proven experience leading multiple CAPEX projects.
•Experience building trust and coaching diverse teams of business leaders.
