Key Responsibilities

  • •Baseline factory metrics (Scrap, Rework, FPY), identify top drivers, forecast demand, and find improvement opportunities.
  • •Drive defect prevention alignment using baseline and forecast data to enable containment, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  • •Conduct process walks and operator observations to reduce variation and enhance manufacturing processes.
  • •Lead APQP initiatives including PFMEA, control plans, and SPC using quality metrics and future demand.
  • •Identify supplier escapes/issues and ensure proper containment and backflow to Supplier Quality Management; verify improvements through validation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s in STEM (or related technical field) and a minimum of 2 years related engineering experience.
  • •Manufacturing process experience (assembly, inspection, and/or test).
  • •Experience working in cross-functional process improvement teams.
  • •Experience identifying root cause and implementing short- and long-term corrective actions.
  • •U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
