Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with client and Avanade leaders to understand priorities and translate them into practical AI-enabled solutions.
  • •Shape commercially viable, technically feasible solution concepts capable of operating at enterprise scale.
  • •Convert business cases, reinvention opportunities, and transformation roadmaps into production-ready solution architectures and delivery plans.
  • •Own the engineering standard for the FDE track, including architecture patterns, engineering practices, testing, evaluation, production readiness, and operational support.
  • •Define and evolve AI-native engineering practices, including agent-assisted development, reusable components, observability, and production operations.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in software or AI engineering with senior/lead accountability for systems running in production and maintained afterward.
  • •Deep, hands-on agentic engineering experience (orchestration, retrieval, tool use, evaluation, observability, and failure handling).
  • •Strong command of the Microsoft AI stack, with credible transfer depth on an equivalent stack.
  • •Experience setting and enforcing engineering standards for a team, including gaining adoption from people who initially disagreed.
  • •Experience assessing and hiring engineers at volume and pace with a defensible bar.
