Counsel and guide consumer and mortgage customers in default by managing outbound loss mitigation efforts and minimizing delinquency losses. Handle accounts approaching charge-off status through calls and negotiations, presenting workout alternatives such as forbearance, repayment plans, modifications, short sales, and deed in lieu. Review and recommend foreclosure/repossession alternatives, ensure documentation is received, and comply with FDCPA, privacy, and investor/insurer guidelines.
