Job Summary

Lead development and optimization of NC (numerical control) programs for shipbuilding, translating CAD/CAM data into machine-ready code and coordinating between design systems and cutting machinery. You’ll support design and manufacturing teams, define PLM-related business rules, and drive continuous NC programming improvements on the River Class Destroyer program in Canada.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the generation, integration, and optimization of NC programs for shipbuilding
•Translate CAD/CAM data into precise, machine-ready code
•Manage workflows between design systems and cutting machinery
•Provide day-to-day support to Design & Manufacturing teams—resolving technical issues and ensuring high-quality output
•Define and implement business rules across the product lifecycle

•OMNIBEVEL, PROCAM, and/or FORAN experience
