Job Summary

Lead VF’s Product Sustainability & Circularity work within the Global Sustainability team, partnering with Europe brand teams to measure, analyze, and reduce carbon and waste. Manage a team that builds data quality and reporting capabilities (including AI-enabled analysis), guides EU regulation compliance, and advances circular product design across apparel and footwear. Represent VF externally across industry events, manage partners, and coordinate retailer sustainability requests in EMEA.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead a team focused on measuring, reducing, and reporting the impact of VF materials and products for Europe-based brands and EU-specific regulations.
•Build capabilities and processes to improve data quality and analysis for product impact reporting and disclosures, including AI-enabled data solutions.
•Guide brand teams through EU regulation requirements and implement improvements to product impact data, with a focus on ESPR, CSRSD, Repair, and Green Claims.
•Support circular product design and innovation by identifying and vetting circular materials and technologies (including textile-to-textile recycling, chemical recycling, and closed-loop systems).
•Manage retailer sustainability requests in EMEA, coordinate cross-functional work for data collection and reporting, and represent VF in external industry meetings and conferences.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience in product sustainability or circularity, preferably in the apparel or footwear industry or adjacent manufacturing industries.
•Deep and proficient understanding of circular design and product sustainability, including knowledge of synthetic materials and textile innovation.
•Strong leadership ability to manage a broad range of projects and stakeholders, including cross-functional work in highly matrixed organizations.
•Strong grounding in environmental policy and EU governance/public policy, with familiarity with circularity-related concepts and frameworks.
•Exposure to sustainability ratings and reporting frameworks such as GHG Protocol, Science Based Targets initiative, TCFD, CDP, and CSRD.
