Job Summary

Own and improve the full cement manufacturing process by analyzing operations from raw materials through finish milling. Optimize fuel and electrical efficiency as well as production rate, apply pyro-processing expertise, and support control room operations and shift process teams. Perform programming and maintenance for programmable control systems, run performance testing, and maintain equipment records. Provide technical support to Production to maximize quality-controlled cement output efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

•Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
•Analyze the cement production process and implement changes to optimize fuel efficiency, electrical efficiency, and production rate.
•Use pyro-processing expertise to perform regular process-related responsibilities.
•Train control room operators on proper use of plant equipment and work with shift process teams to run mills and pyro lines at peak efficiency.
•Program and maintain plant programmable control systems; perform performance testing, maintain equipment records, and support Production with technical recommendations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (minimum 4 years) in mechanical, chemical engineering, or a related field.
•Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar or related position.
•Knowledge of pyro-processing, thermodynamics, heat transfer, airflow, and related principles.
•Knowledge of PLC systems and instrumentation techniques and guidelines.
•Proficient English communication (written, verbal, and listening) and ability to solve problems with high attention to detail.
