Job Summary

Partner with Netflix Animation Studio Productions to crew and cast internal talent across projects, translating staffing needs into proactive recruiting and development plans. Facilitate regular connection moments with artists, forecast future talent requirements, and collaborate with Talent Development and HRBPs to support performance, coaching, culture, and engagement. Curate staffing recommendations, resolve staffing conflicts, and manage offer and transition processes while upholding Netflix inclusivity and communication standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure timely crewing and casting of internal talent to Netflix Animation Studio projects across all phases of production.
•Partner with Productions, Talent Acquisition, Production Overhead, and Content to understand staffing needs and optimize the internal talent base.
•Facilitate regular connection moments with talent to build deep knowledge of role responsibilities and development needs.
•Work with department leaders and Talent Development and Training to execute talent and craft curriculum; forecast future talent needs and identify proactive solutions.
•Partner with HRBPs and talent leadership on talent performance, coaching, studio culture and engagement; manage compensation recommendations, offers/negotiations, and talent transition processes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 116,000 - 183,000 annually

Key Requirements

•3-10 years experience in a relevant animation/VFX production capacity with knowledge of animation workflows, processes, and the artistic pipeline.
•3-5 years experience leading creative teams in artist management, production, talent acquisition, and management (plus).
•Experience in talent casting, recruiting, succession planning, or organizational development (plus).
•Exceptional interpersonal, listening, and communication skills, with the ability to partner with creative leadership, content, production executives, and cross-functional teams.
•Ability to work within multiple project management tools in a constantly evolving environment.
