Provide hands-on IT support to NPR staff in a Washington, DC environment, handling end-user troubleshooting, network and access management, device provisioning, and CMS/production tool support to ensure uninterrupted public service journalism.

Key Responsibilities

•End-User Support & Diagnostics: Resolve technical incidents for in-person and remote staff, diagnosing and troubleshooting computers, mobile devices, OSes, applications, and peripherals on PC and Mac.
•Network & Infrastructure Support: Diagnose and resolve local network connectivity issues (Ethernet, Wi‑Fi, VPN).
•Identity & Access Management: Administer accounts and access controls using AD, Entra, Exchange Admin Center, and MFA policies.
•Systems Administration & MDM: Deploy, configure, and maintain workstation fleets using endpoint management systems for Windows and Mac.
•Documentation & SOPs: Create and maintain SOPs, knowledge base articles, and training materials for end-users and IT colleagues.

Key Requirements

•Minimum qualifications include multi-platform support (macOS and Windows) and experience diagnosing hardware, software, and OS issues; Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra (Azure AD), Exchange, and MFA tools; Foundational network troubleshooting knowledge (DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi, VPN); Experience with enterprise AV/collaboration tools; Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical users.
