Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to the design and development of a new Army vision system with multi-spectral sensors, compute, thermal management, and ballistic protection
  • •Pursue prototyping and evaluation with a high degree of autonomy, meeting SWAP-C requirements while balancing human factors and packaging needs
  • •Produce high-quality engineering drawings and CAD models for prototyping and production
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Warfighter Systems to meet stringent military specifications
  • •Ensure designs satisfy wearables usability, comfort, and durability requirements in tactical environments

Key Requirements

  • •BS, M.Eng, MS or PhD in an engineering field
  • •7+ years Mechanical Engineering Experience
  • •CAD skills (any platform) and ability to make high quality engineering drawings
  • •Detailed mechanical design for traditional and additive manufacturing from prototype through production with metallics and composites; Ergonomics and Human Factors; Structural Analysis (FEA); Manufacturing Processes; Thermal and Environmental Considerations
  • •Must be a U.S. person and eligible to attain a U.S. Security Clearance
