Job Summary

Oversee environmental permitting and utility siting projects for energy and other private-sector clients across AECOM’s Southeast Region. Manage consulting projects end-to-end—scoping, scheduling, and budgeting—while coordinating field and data collection efforts. Serve as a client and regulatory interface, develop proposals and deliverables, and enforce Health & Safety expectations. Mentor junior and mid-level staff and support business development across an EPP specialist network.

•Manage and execute consulting projects, including scoping, scheduling, and budgeting while using AECOM’s project management tools and systems.

•Serve as an interface with clients and regulatory personnel on complex projects and through business development initiatives.
•Mentor junior and mid-level staff and enforce a team culture that prioritizes Health & Safety.

Key Requirements

•BA/BS in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Ecology, Natural resources, Wetlands management, or an earth science-related field plus 6 years of experience (or equivalent).
•6+ years managing projects and teams to scope, schedule, and budget.
•Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.
•US Citizenship required due to the nature of the work.
•Advanced environmental permitting knowledge, including familiarity with CWA, ESA, NHPA, NEPA, and other federal/state/local regulations.
