Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, maintain, and provide guidance on environmental processes/policies, including conducting required environmental training.
  • •Assess environmental risk and provide recommendations; participate in or run approved regulatory course of action with required documentation.
  • •Participate in environmental project planning and implementation, including scheduling, cost estimating, environmental impact assessments, and reporting.
  • •Prepare and submit applications to procure environmental permits, renewals, approvals, variances, and other authorizations; coordinate with company partners.
  • •Perform environmental compliance audits and due diligence as needed, and develop/improve air, water, and waste management and/or remediation practices while preparing compliance reports/certifications and documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and minimum four (4) years’ environmental experience (Environmental Specialist III) or minimum eight (8) years’ environmental experience (Environmental Specialist IV).
  • •Experience assessing environmental risk and supporting approved course of action with required regulatory documentation.
  • •Experience planning and implementing environmental projects, including scheduling, cost estimating, environmental impact assessments, and reporting.
  • •Ability to prepare and submit applications for environmental permits, renewals, approvals, variances, and related authorizations and coordinate with internal partners.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills; excellent organizational/interpersonal skills with safety as a priority.
