Key Responsibilities

  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and order parts.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Diagnose equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations and complete repairs.
  • •Set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites, working individually or with other technicians.
  • •Maintain accurate daily paperwork/electronic documentation (work orders) and assist with training and equipment pickup/delivery as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and ability to use applicable tools; must own tools for the role.
  • •Experience inspecting, maintaining, and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
  • •Experience reading schematics and calculating nominal/effective tonnage or kW requirements.
  • •EPA 608 certification preferred (or ability to obtain within 6-12 months).
