Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, fabricate, and integrate harness systems, representing the harness discipline on projects.
  • •Investigate, plan, and develop harnesses to meet technical requirements, including connector/back-shell/contact selection, wire, shielding, and cable construction.
  • •Develop harness system block diagrams and wire diagrams for production release; prepare harness assembly instructions and test procedures aligned with standards and best practices.
  • •Own end-to-end electrical wiring and interconnect design, including power distribution, grounding, shielding, and signal integrity; perform trade studies and mitigate electrical risks (voltage drop, crosstalk, EMI susceptibility, thermal effects).
  • •Guide electrical team requirements based on stakeholder input and support in-person development and work with harness manufacturers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 34 - 50 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •Must be returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter or semester.
  • •Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
  • •Ability to complete an in-person 16-24 week internship in one of the offices in winter 2027.
  • •Ability to represent the harness discipline and support multiple project stages in a fast-paced environment.
