Key Responsibilities

•Provide detailed electrical design and specifications for power distribution, switchgear/motor control centers, lighting, UPS, generators, automatic transfer switches, power monitoring, data/phone wiring, grounding, and fire alarm/lightning protection systems.
•Support facility technicians by troubleshooting electrical equipment and controllers.
•Conduct engineering work for design, operation, and troubleshooting of electrical components, including load flow analysis, equipment evaluation, and grounding.
•Ensure electrical equipment interfaces properly with mechanical and electrical systems, including compatibility with facility power budgets.
•Coordinate electrical installations and maintenance with local electrical utilities and perform code review using applicable standards (NFPA and IBC).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or another engineering discipline.
•3+ years of professional experience working on electrical projects and power distribution systems, including switchgear, UPS, and/or generators.
•Professional Engineering (PE) license.
•Ability to read and understand power and control schematics.
•Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and industrial pumps.
