Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide detailed electrical design and specifications for power distribution, switchgear/motor control centers, lighting, UPS, generators, automatic transfer switches, power monitoring, data/phone wiring, grounding, and fire alarm/lightning protection systems.
  • •Support facility technicians by troubleshooting electrical equipment and controllers.
  • •Conduct engineering work for design, operation, and troubleshooting of electrical components, including load flow analysis, equipment evaluation, and grounding.
  • •Ensure electrical equipment interfaces properly with mechanical and electrical systems, including compatibility with facility power budgets.
  • •Coordinate electrical installations and maintenance with local electrical utilities and perform code review using applicable standards (NFPA and IBC).

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of professional experience working on electrical projects and power distribution systems, including switchgear, UPS, and/or generators.
  • •Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • •Ability to read and understand power and control schematics.
  • •Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and industrial pumps.
