Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake design and review of electrical and ICA elements in wastewater and water infrastructure treatment projects from conception to handover.
  • •Prepare feasibility studies, outline design, detailed design, and construction support for electrical scopes.
  • •Produce load schedules, single line diagrams, and MCC general arrangements; provide inputs to P&IDs and instrument schedules.
  • •Develop specifications and technical reports covering electrical installation and cable calculations, control philosophy, URS, and PLC/SCADA systems.
  • •Act as Electrical Lead on WwTW/WTW and infrastructure projects, supporting delivery within programme and budget and line-managing graduates, engineers, and senior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
  • •Experience designing water and wastewater engineering deliverables with multi-disciplinary knowledge, ideally including treatment schemes.
  • •Experience managing projects, delegating tasks, and providing technical mentoring.
  • •Chartered (or near Chartered) Member of a relevant Professional Institution.
