Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in installation and qualification of manufacturing equipment.
  • •Solve day-to-day production, equipment, and process problems, including bringing processes back into control when SPC alarms trigger.
  • •Identify and implement yield and product performance improvements, including developing methods to assign causes to yield excursions.
  • •Set up and maintain gauges and ensure processes run on target as defined by the Process Control Plan.
  • •Execute planned process experiments, collect/analyze/report experimental and daily tool/product performance data, and provide training and documentation updates.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 23 - 26.44 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • •Associates degree in a technical discipline OR two or more years of machine/mechanic experience as a primary job function OR one year of First Solar technical experience OR six months as a Temporary Manufacturing Engineering Technician at First Solar.
  • •Safety first mindset.
  • •General electrical/electronic and mechanical knowledge.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the manufacturing line, with good written and oral communications skills in English.
