Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as primary technical owner/SME for TI’s Apigee Edge private cloud lifecycle, including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and roadmap evolution.
  • •Administer Apigee Edge components across dev/test and production, and maintain monitoring with self-healing and proactive issue detection.
  • •Lead incident management for Apigee-related incidents, performing root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews to prevent recurrence.
  • •Support API proxy lifecycle with deployment pipeline partnership, policy troubleshooting, and runtime performance optimization.
  • •Develop and maintain automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tooling (e.g., Python/Bash/Ansible/Terraform) and apply SRE practices (SLOs/SLIs, observability dashboards, runbooks) across the DevOps platform portfolio.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • •3+ years of hands-on API management experience with Apigee or a similar API Management platform.
  • •Strong Linux/Unix system administration experience (RHEL, Rocky, or similar).
  • •Proficiency in at least one scripting/automation language: Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • •Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Elastic/ELK, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent).
