Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide advanced specialist support for planning, mobilisation, and production of Civil structure BIM models, data, and documents using Autodesk Revit and associated technologies.
  • •Support project management and digital/BIM leads with development and enforcement of digital delivery standards, methods, and procedures aligned to WSP UK Civil Information Management Framework.
  • •Implement “model first” principles and create, modify, and deploy model authoring templates/configurations to meet project requirements.
  • •Create and manage reusable BIM components to support consistent and smarter parametric modelling.
  • •Maintain BIM model validation and quality control processes, perform audits, share lessons learned/best practice, and support automation and digital training.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong proficiency in advanced use, setup, and configuration of Bentley or Autodesk authoring tools (e.g., Civil 3D, Revit, OpenBridges).
  • •Strong experience using CDEs such as ACC/Forma and Bentley ProjectWise for BIM data workflows.
  • •Practical knowledge of technologies including Navisworks, Rhino + Grasshopper, and Dynamo.
  • •Good experience with BIM model data production and management, including validation and quality control processes.
  • •Civil engineering degree or similar, with chartered status or working towards engineering chartership.
