Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and support trials activities, including project planning for fleet and overseas programmes.
  • •Ensure activities are delivered safely and in compliance with SHE, Quality, and Product Safety requirements.
  • •Compile and review assurance documentation, certification, and portfolios of evidence for customer and inspection authority needs.
  • •Conduct inspections, assessments, and reporting for marine engineering systems using pass/fail criteria and current BMS standards.
  • •Use technical expertise to identify, investigate, and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, and platform systems on naval vessels.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 50,000

Key Requirements

  • •Experience planning, managing, and conducting engineering tests and trials.
  • •Strong knowledge of Royal Navy marine systems, design standards, and operational requirements.
  • •Good understanding of assurance, acceptance processes, and product safety principles.
  • •Ability to lead by example and promote safe working practices while supporting colleagues.
  • •Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
