Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and operate CNC grinding machines to perform precise grinding operations on metal parts to specified dimensions and tolerances.
  • •Write and modify CNC programs and fine-tune machine settings to optimize grinding processes.
  • •Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers and calipers) to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • •Perform routine maintenance checks on CNC grinding equipment and troubleshoot mechanical or programming issues.
  • •Maintain accurate production run records, machine configurations, maintenance activities, and adjustments; follow safety protocols.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualification as a metal working artisan, machinist, tool and die maker, fitter and turner, or closely related trade.
  • •Minimum of 5 years’ experience in production and manufacturing environments, including at least 3 years as a CNC Grinder Operator.
  • •Ability to read, interpret, and apply information from engineering drawings and process sheets.
  • •Excellent numeracy skills to measure and set up machines accurately.
  • •Proficiency with conventional and CNC internal and external grinding machines and surface grinding techniques.
