Own end-to-end sourcing strategy for composite raw materials, partnering with engineering and contract manufacturers to improve cost, quality, and supply resilience. Drive commercial agreements and technology reviews while escalating and resolving commodity supply risks to support prototype needs and build milestones.

•Develop and execute commodity strategies for composite raw materials to improve cost, quality, and supply chain resilience.
•Lead end-to-end sourcing for composites manufacturing, including RFI/RFQ/RFP processes and strategic sourcing decisions.
•Own supplier relationships and contract manufacturing continuity, including risk management, cost negotiations, and NPI to execution.
•Perform detailed quote and cost breakdown analysis and use TCO to make data-driven supply chain decisions.
•Negotiate supplier agreements and manage supplier performance across delivery, quality, cost, and innovation metrics.

Travel: High travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 166,000 - 220,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field.
•8+ years of experience in supply chain commodity management for composites manufacturing and/or sourcing engineering.
•Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
•Ability to relocate to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA if not already local.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
