Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and modernize the enterprise monitoring and observability program, shifting from traditional alerting to predictive detection, automation, and intelligent event correlation.
  • •Manage IT systems and support services for availability/performance, anomalies, and SLA-based service delivery, including outage incident trend analysis.
  • •Build automated remediation and self-healing workflows by integrating monitoring data with ITSM/orchestration to automate ticketing, escalation, and response.
  • •Partner with the cybersecurity/SOC team to surface observability data as contextual signals for security investigations and correlate operational anomalies with security events.
  • •Manage personnel/contract developers and plan projects to deliver within scope, timeline, budget, and quality guardrails.

Key Requirements

  • •6–10 years in IT operations, infrastructure engineering, or SRE, with hands-on experience across tools such as Datadog, BigPanda, SolarWinds, Zabbix, and Grafana (or Prometheus, Splunk, AppDynamics).
  • •End-to-end observability program maturity, including architecture, predictive/anomaly-based alerting, and noise reduction.
  • •Strong scripting/automation experience with Python, PowerShell, or similar, plus integrating monitoring platforms via APIs.
  • •Experience supporting large-scale global hybrid (cloud + on-prem) enterprise environments.
  • •People management experience or readiness for a first-line management role with technical credibility to lead senior engineers.
