Key Responsibilities

  • •Compound non-sterile medications (e.g., tablets, solutions, suspensions, gummy formulations) following prescription orders and site SOPs upon completion of certification.
  • •Clean, calibrate, and maintain non-sterile compounding equipment and designated workspaces.
  • •Stage raw materials and manage non-sterile compounding inventory.
  • •Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
  • •Maintain required documentation, including batch records, ingredient logs, and cleaning logs; follow USP and state/federal requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Active registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in the State of Ohio.
  • •At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience; prior hospital or compounding experience preferred.
  • •Familiarity with USP and standards for non-sterile compounding processes.
  • •Strong attention to detail for accurate measurements, documentation, and record-keeping in a regulated environment.
