Key Responsibilities

  • •Own commercial assurance review of cash flow, WIP, certification, collections, and commercial exposure across priority projects.
  • •Validate entity-reported commercial figures against source documents and identify losses, uncertified earned-value gaps, stale receivables, and material reporting movements.
  • •Monitor cash flow, WIP, and collections positions by cross-checking certification documents, receivables ageing, and supporting records.
  • •Review IPC certification cycles, BOQ structures, variation orders, claims, and cost-value reconciliation to assess commercial accuracy and contractual exposure.
  • •Prepare validated commercial/cash/WIP insights for EPMO leadership, manage risks in the EPMO Tasks & Issues Log, escalate unsupported positions, and influence corrective actions with entity commercial and finance teams.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in construction commercial, quantity surveying, or contractor-side commercial roles.
  • •Strong knowledge of cash flow, WIP, certification, collections, commercial exposure, and revenue protection in construction portfolios.
  • •Working knowledge of IPC certification cycles, BOQ structures, variation orders, claims, and cost-value reconciliation.
  • •Ability to interpret contractual notices, rejection letters, dispute correspondence, and GCOC/FIDIC-style mechanics to assess financial exposure.
  • •Track record improving WIP, collections, or cash position on live projects/portfolios, including across multiple currencies and jurisdictions.
