Seniority: Mid level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and maintain the end-to-end asset pipeline from ingestion to validated output.
  • •Design agent-driven graph nodes for generating input content and making dependable decisions at scale.
  • •Develop automated processing stages including mesh repair, retopology, decimation/LODs, UV unwrapping, texel density normalization, and collision proxy generation.
  • •Derive physical properties for correct simulation behavior (mass, inertia, contact parameters, articulation setup).
  • •Define asset standards and validators, and scale pipeline throughput with caching/versioning and quality checks (physics stability harnesses, render smoke tests, automated evaluations).

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years building content or asset pipelines in games, VFX, simulation, or 3D tooling with production ownership.
  • •Deep knowledge of 3D asset formats and quirks (USD, glTF, FBX, OBJ) and physics description formats (URDF, MJCF).
  • •Strong Python and C++ for fast processing and pipeline implementation.
  • •Hands-on mesh processing expertise (remeshing, decimation, UV generation/repair, convex decomposition) and understanding failure modes.
  • •Experience converting assets to PBR (texture baking and color spaces) and driving headless DCC tools (Blender, Houdini, Maya) in batch/distributed job systems.
