Own risk-based testing and quality for critical web applications, partnering with product and engineering to refine acceptance criteria and cover edge cases. Detect and triage production bugs, then investigate performance and scalability issues across systems. Build and maintain secure, testable automation frameworks using modern tooling, and drive adoption of best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability while mentoring teammates and leading initiatives.

•Understand requirements and user stories end-to-end to drive risk-based testing and improve acceptance criteria.
•Detect and resolve production issues and bugs within the development environment.
•Investigate test failures in production, identify design flaws, and recommend solutions.
•Assess scalability and performance considerations to detect and solve scalability/performance issues.
•Write and maintain clean, secure, testable code and help drive best practices and process/tool improvements, including mentoring and leading initiatives.

Key Requirements

•4+ years of experience in web application development or quality assurance.
•Knowledge of JavaScript and Java, plus Shell scripting skills.
•Experience with RESTful web service principles and HTTP clients/tools such as Postman, Rest-assured, Playwright, and Wiremock.
•Hands-on experience with Continuous Delivery practices and containerization such as Docker.
•Bachelor’s in Computer Science (or equivalent) and ability to be based within the Eastern Time Zone.
