Job Summary

Lead the overall operation of an asphalt construction group, owning safety, quality, human resources, and financial performance. Manage group profitability through planning, budgeting, and bid reviews; oversee revenue receivables and external relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors. Based in Hammond, LA, you’ll direct operations in Baton Rouge and Northshore while mentoring team members, administering discipline, and tracking safety and quality goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure overall profitability of the group, including developing and managing short- and long-term plans aligned to profit and growth objectives.
•Develop and manage yearly group budget plans and lead group bid reviews.
•Delegate project and bid responsibilities to direct reports, and manage bidding and projects when directed.
•Maintain proper staffing levels, handle personnel issues, collaborate with company HR, and mentor direct employees.
•Ensure safety and quality performance by auditing policies/procedures, establishing annual goals, and administering discipline as needed.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma.
•Five (5) years of experience as an Estimator, Project Manager, or equivalent, with demonstrated ability to lead others.

•Ability to manage under pressure and handle sensitive and confidential information.
