Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent skill level.
  • •Ability to carry out standardized laboratory tests in accordance with ASTM and AASHTO standards.
  • •Knowledge of basic operating procedures and applicable federal, state, and local regulations related to safety, environment, and transportation.
  • •Ability to detect safety hazards and malfunctions and respond accordingly, including operating a two-way radio.
  • •Current or working towards Level 2 or 3 HMA ODOT Certifications; must be able to read English sufficiently for specifications, reports, manuals, and regulations.
