Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement observability solutions using OpenTelemetry for instrumentation, collectors, and context propagation.
  • •Architect telemetry ingestion, storage, and query pipelines to support analytics and observability data models.
  • •Apply AI/ML techniques for baselining, anomaly detection, and reducing alert noise.
  • •Implement observability across Kubernetes and service mesh environments, including networking and advanced telemetry approaches.
  • •Ensure observability data security, privacy, and multi-tenant isolation while aligning performance overhead and telemetry costs with FinOps.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong observability fundamentals, including MELT concepts like correlation, sampling, and high-cardinality control.
  • •Hands-on OpenTelemetry expertise across instrumentation, collectors, and context propagation.
  • •Architectural understanding of large-scale distributed systems and microservices failure modes, including cloud-native and Kubernetes observability.
  • •Experience with APM internals and runtime instrumentation across Java, .NET, Node.js, and Python.
  • •Ability to architect high-throughput telemetry ingestion, storage, and query pipelines while understanding data models and query-pattern analytics.
