Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary Splunk platform administrator for Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Enterprise Security, including deployments, configurations, indexes, apps, knowledge objects, data inputs, and security content.
  • •Monitor and maintain SIEM system health and security posture using performance/capacity tracking, STIG and PKI compliance, ACAS scan review, and proactive identification of improvements or automation opportunities.
  • •Develop and enhance security monitoring capabilities by creating dashboards, alerts, reports, correlation logic, and new data inputs.
  • •Partner with system administrators and developers to troubleshoot issues and build workflows for CND-related assets and ServiceNow-integrated processes.
  • •Maintain operational readiness and documentation by managing configuration baselines, tracking changes, evaluating daily ServiceNow tickets, ensuring continuous compliance, and supporting after-hours/weekend outages.
