Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle in accordance with state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and on time while following traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Coordinate loading and unloading by maneuvering the truck/trailer and following loading crew signals.
  • •Maintain required shipping documentation and deliver paperwork upon route completion.
  • •Perform routine vehicle service checks and report maintenance malfunctions to the Shipping Supervisor.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) appropriate for the vehicle weight.
  • •Pass background and drug testing per federal/state DOT regulations, including a 10-panel drug screen.
  • •Pass a DOT physical for vehicles over 10,000 lbs.
  • •Be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Be able to travel frequently and lift/move up to 40 pounds.
