Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement new functionality based on product objectives and requirements.
  • •Collaborate with the product engineering team to execute feature improvements and technical enhancements that cross large parts of the platform.
  • •Continuously learn and expand knowledge of the Open Commerce platform technologies and versatility across platform systems.
  • •Expand API and business logic, and write customer-facing API documentation as needed.
  • •Work with the infrastructure team to enable highly available, performant backend applications and services at scale.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 140,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •3-5 years practical industry experience or equivalent building systems in Ruby on Rails.
  • •Experience building and maintaining backend APIs, including design, implementation, evolution, and maintenance.
  • •Proficiency using a variety of database technologies, both relational and non-relational.
  • •Ability to work in service-based architectures as well as well-factored Rails monolith applications.
  • •Ability to write clean code and the discipline to write effective automated tests to deliver high-quality system improvements.
