Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and order parts.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Diagnose equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations and complete required repairs.
  • •Set up and operate equipment at shop and customer sites, working individually or with other technicians.
  • •Maintain daily paperwork/electronic documentation and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience maintaining and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections and repairs.
  • •Ability to calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read schematics.
  • •EPA 608 certification preferred (obtain within 6–12 months if not already held).
