Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage one or more moderately complex projects, including overseeing all phases from beginning to close out.
  • •Provide functional direction across project schedules, cost control, dispute resolution, contract administration, and quality control.
  • •Perform design-management leadership across all phases, including design phase cost/budget/schedule control, coordination, and reporting to the client.
  • •Coordinate jurisdictional approvals and permitting, manage construction logistics planning, and review/coordinate construction contract activities and pre-qualification processes.
  • •Review change orders, monitor scheduling and cost control variances, verify payment applications, and resolve complex project disputes and disagreements.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 2 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education).
  • •Construction management knowledge and understanding of construction industry practices.
  • •Experience managing facilities design or capital projects including design, contract administration, cost estimating, and scheduling activities.
  • •Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and construction management software.
  • •Preferred: a California Certificate of Registration as an Architect or Professional Engineer registration, plus relevant construction-management and design/construction credentials.
