Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and operate the Release Readiness Assurance (RRA) process and issue formal readiness decisions based on evidence from delivery teams.
  • •Provide independent governance oversight for high-risk releases to ensure deployment plans, risk assessments, and readiness evidence meet standards.
  • •Review and maintain the Forward Schedule of Change and Release Calendar with accurate, fully documented planned activity.
  • •Challenge delivery teams and suppliers when governance documentation, impact assessments, or release plans do not meet required standards.
  • •Produce governance reporting and insight for senior stakeholders; identify trends and drive continuous improvement in release governance practices and controls.

Salary: GBP 78,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrable experience in Release Management, Change Management, or IT Governance.
  • •Strong understanding of governance oversight, assurance, and control frameworks in technology environments.
  • •Experience participating in governance forums such as CAB, Release Readiness, or Go/No-Go reviews.
  • •ITIL v4 qualification (or equivalent practical experience).
  • •Experience using ServiceNow for Change Management and Forward Schedule of Change processes, with evidence-led decision-making in regulated environments.
