Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute plant trials, line qualifications, and process validations hands-on, including tooling/equipment/fixture setup on the production floor.
  • •Run DOE and process capability studies, collecting/analyzing data to optimize process parameters.
  • •Operate injection molding and blow molding equipment during development trials and adjust parameters to improve quality and cycle time.
  • •Build and verify first-article samples with dimensional checks (CMM/hand gauges) and document results to specification.
  • •Troubleshoot tooling, mold, and processing issues and support customer line trials on-site as the technical representative.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Polymer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • •2–5 years hands-on experience with injection molded plastic closures and/or blow molded plastic bottles, including operating and setting up production equipment.
  • •Experience executing DOE, process validations, and line trials with strong data/quality discipline.
  • •Working knowledge of statistical methods and programs (SPC/DOE/MiniTab).
  • •Ability to travel 20–40% for on-site customer and supplier visits and communicate/document technical work clearly.
