Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee input, peer review, and verification of geotechnical data and analyses, including design calculations.
  • •Provide consultative advice to external partners through site selection/optioneering, design, and construction phases.
  • •Manage or oversee geotechnical projects, including planning schedules, coordination, and delivery against objectives, programme, and budget.
  • •Lead and support the Ground Engineering team to ensure successful project completion and delivery to time and quality expectations.
  • •Maintain industry presence and build client relationships to support a consistent pipeline, including work winning and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology/Geology (2:1 or equivalent) or higher.
  • •MSc/MEng in Soil Mechanics, Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology (advantageous).
  • •Chartered status.
  • •Strong knowledge of UK ground conditions and ground investigation practices.
  • •Understanding of current design codes/standards and ability to apply ground conditions interpretation/correlation methods.
