Job Summary

Lead materials operations for receiving, raw material warehousing, inventory control, material flow, and supermarkets across assigned shifts and production areas. Own material inventory accuracy and cycle counting routines, manage inventory reporting and scrap processing, and drive standard work and continuous improvement. Recommend cost and productivity improvements, coordinate shipping/receiving, and lead or develop materials replenishment/picking teams while partnering with plant and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan, organize, and control receiving, warehousing, inventory control, material flow, and supermarkets for assigned shifts/production areas.
•Schedule receiving materials to control goods flow and regulate warehouse space while ensuring timely unloading, receiving, storage, and delivery.
•Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting routines, drive cycle count standard work toward certification, and issue inventory reporting including metrics and scrap processing.
•Implement and enforce standard work, lead continuous improvement activities, and recommend improvements to reduce costs and drive productivity.
•Provide leadership for personnel selection/development and coordinate materials replenishment and picking, working with plant management and engineering teams to deploy replenishment methods (e.g., Kanban, sequencing).

Key Requirements

•Experience in operations, inventory management, MRP and lean manufacturing processes.
•Experience with visual management systems, plus familiarity with Microsoft Office and inventory control/shipping software.
