Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain strategic relationships with accounts and SSI stakeholders, ensuring effective day-to-day engagement and timely escalation of issues.
  • •Lead and motivate staff in a deadline-critical operational environment, fostering a culture across sites and driving upskilling, coaching, mentoring, and succession.
  • •Maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement compliance policies, and continually reassess operational risks, including audit/regulator findings and BRCM review outcomes.
  • •Manage cost within the agreed budget, reconcile actual vs planned headcount, and track sustainable cost saves.
  • •Re-engineer and align processes to improve operational efficiency and service standards, act as escalation point for non-performance, and drive quality/data improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced Investment Administration experience essential, including leadership/exposure to the Transfer Agency industry, accounting and valuation system, and reconciliation.
  • •Minimum 10 years of management experience leading teams and stakeholders in operational and/or project management roles.
  • •Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including managing senior stakeholders across geographies.
  • •Deep understanding of data structure/taxonomy and the ability to interpret complex changes in regulatory guidelines and assess impact.
  • •Proven experience in change management, operational risk management, and leading data quality improvement initiatives in dynamic environments.
