Job Summary

You’ll collaborate with hardware/software engineering, product management and marketing to translate complex technical concepts for installers, engineers, and customers, while driving CMS usage, localization, and documentation quality across global teams.

Job Function: Content & Editorial (Writing/Editing)

Key Responsibilities

•Author and review technical documentation for hardware, firmware, and software components of solar tracker systems, along with new product offerings in Nextpower’s portfolio.
•Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise content for installers, engineers, operations staff, and customers.
•Oversee the production of illustrations, diagrams, and multimedia to support documentation.
•Enable translation program to support document translations into multiple languages for global customers and teams.
•Support documentation across regulatory compliance, safety standards, and warranty requirements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Engineering or related field; 5+ years of experience in technical writing.
•Proven experience documenting complex electromechanical or industrial hardware systems, with relationship of hardware to software.
•Familiarity with solar tracker systems or renewable energy equipment is highly desirable.
•Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills; strong command of documentation tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, Confluence, XML/DITA, or equivalent.
•Experience managing documentation projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines; multilingual documentation or localization experience; fluent English.
