Job Summary

Maintain and troubleshoot flight simulators and associated devices at the CAE Training Center. Provide real-time phone support for simulator technical issues, prepare simulators for customer training with pre-flight tests, and perform preventive maintenance. Conduct aircraft validation (QTG), execute configuration control, diagnose and fix simulator deficiencies, update documentation, and log work in a CMMS while supporting ongoing training-center improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide real-time phone support to address technical issues on training center flight simulators.
•Prepare simulators for customer training, including performing pre-flight tests.
•Perform recurring scheduled preventive maintenance and execute aircraft validation tests (QTG).
•Diagnose and resolve complex simulator deficiencies, identify/replace defective components, and validate snag fixes.
•Maintain configuration control and document/update procedures, logging work in a CMMS while participating in technical training and improvement projects.

Key Requirements

•DEC in Electronic, Computer Science, Aircraft Maintenance, or equivalent education.
•Related experience in software and electronic modification/manipulation.
•Knowledge of Windows, Unix, C, C++, and scripting languages.
•Familiarity with basic electronic theory, principles, and electronic testing equipment.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
